Fire Password Generator

Privacy Policy

Your passwords stay yours.

Last updated: August 23, 2026

Fire Password Generator does not collect, transmit, sell, or share personal or sensitive user data. Password generation happens locally in the browser.

About this policy

This Privacy Policy describes how the Fire Password Generator Chrome extension (the “Extension”), provided by 2Bro.Dev, handles information.

Generated passwords

Passwords are generated locally on the user's device using the browser's Web Crypto API. Generated passwords are not transmitted to 2Bro.Dev or any third party and are not saved by the Extension.

A generated password is written to the system clipboard only after the user explicitly clicks the password or copy control, or uses the toolbar double-click shortcut. The Extension never reads clipboard contents.

Saved preferences

The Extension saves only the following generator preferences:

These preferences are stored using chrome.storage.sync so they can persist across browser restarts and may be synchronized by Chrome for a signed-in browser profile. 2Bro.Dev does not receive or have access to these preferences.

Permissions

Data collection and sharing

The Extension does not collect personally identifiable information, authentication information, financial or health information, personal communications, location, browsing history, website content, or user activity. It contains no analytics, advertising, tracking, or telemetry.

The Extension does not sell or transfer user data to third parties and does not use information for advertising, profiling, creditworthiness, or lending purposes.

Network access

The Extension does not make background network requests and does not send generated passwords or preferences to servers controlled by 2Bro.Dev.

External links

The Extension includes a user-initiated link to the 2Bro.Dev website. Opening that link leaves the Extension and loads the website in a regular browser tab. This policy applies to the Extension itself.

Data retention and deletion

Generated passwords are not retained by the Extension. Saved preferences remain in Chrome storage until the user changes them, removes the Extension, or clears the associated Chrome Sync data.

Limited Use compliance

Fire Password Generator's use of information received from Chrome APIs complies with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Changes to this policy

If the Extension's information practices change, this policy and the disclosures in the Chrome Web Store will be updated before the changed practices are introduced.
